Roof windows such as Fakro and Velux are incredibly easy to install and relatively maintenance free, you can now get them with electrical openers, gone are the days of a long pole. It’s also possible to bring the outdoors in, with a level external threshold you feel like you won’t be stepping outside, and more so bringing the outside in.
